Shakti Durga

Founder and Creator

Sri Guru Shakti Durga is the spiritual leader of Shanti Mission Harmony Centres and Shanti Music. Shakti means spiritual power or energy, Durga is a name for the Divine Mother and Shanti means abiding peace.

On 28th October 2006 Shakti Durga had an experience of self-realisation, took her first disciple Parvati Ma and began Shanti Mission. This marked the beginning of her life as Maha Guru in the Shanti Mission spiritual school and the end of her previous life as Kim Fraser ~ barrister, author and energetic healer.

Central to Guru’s teaching is nada shakti or the active transmission of spiritual energy through music. Nada shakti in truth is the divine expression of the Guru’s grace. Since 2006 thousands of seekers from around the world have attended Shakti Durga’s inspirational satsangs, programs, and courses and experienced first hand the enlivened power of nada shakti.

Shakti Durga is the author of four books. Dimensions Of Wealth, her most recent publication, has been adopted as an indispensable spiritual guide by many seekers.

In 2007 Shakti Durga launched Shanti Music, a transformational music label. Shanti Music has subsequently released a series of spiritually charged kirtan (or devotional) CDs, many featuring Shakti Durga’s inspirational vocals, original collaborations, and contemporary interpretations of traditional kirtan chants
